DESCRIZIONE
Pair of big beautiful cloisonné vases with yellow base color and spectacular floral motifs. The artistic technique of cloisonné is ancient, even known in ancient Egypt, the Goths and the Longobardi. The cloisonné, or otherwise called Byzantium luster, is one of artistic decoration technique enamel, in which thin wires (watermarks) or strips or small metal partitions (usually copper), cells, or cells (known in French cloisons) are soldered glued to a support plate of the work to be built; then subsequently, in the areas detected by the metal, it is poured enamel, thus obtaining a sort of mosaic whose pieces are exactly circumscribed by metal strips.
